Maruti Suzuki has once again elevated the competition in this compact sedan category by the introduction of new Dzire. Sleek, efficient and feature-rich, Dzire remains a daily favorite of Indian families as well as urban commuters.
Design and Premium Features
The new model comes with a redesigned exterior and striking front grille, LED projector head lamps and new alloy wheels. Its flowing design, shark-fin antenna or aerodynamic lineage and dash of sophistication is what the dual tone interiors and leather wrapped steering wheel brings to the cabin.
Comfort and Safety
On the inside, the Dzire has enough room to sit five people, the rear AC outlets and the driver seat can be adjusted in height. Top variants get a nine-inch touch screen entertainment system complete with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls and even an electric sunroof, thought to be a luxury in this segment. Maruti Suzuki has fitted the Dzire with six airbags on all trims, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP) and Hill Hold Assist. It has a 5-star safety rating according to BNCAP and is amongst one of the safest compact sedans in India.
Engine and Power Transmission
Posting an 80 bhp, 3-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine the Dzire is powered by the Z-series engine under the hood. Its customers will have the option of manual and AMT transmissions. The CNG variants are designed to satisfy the desires of those interested in fuel economy with an excellent 33.73 km/kg of mileage.
